Riyadh - Mubasher: Southern Province Cement Company turned to net losses valued at SAR 4 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, compared to net profits of SAR 16 million in Q1-25.
The revenues declined by 7.72% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 203 million as of 31 March 2026 from SAR 220 million due to a decrease in local sales volume, according to the financial results.
Loss per share hit SAR 0.03 in Q1-26 when compared to an earnings per share (EPS) of SAR 0.12 in Q1-25.
Quarterly, the net losses deepened by 95.69% from SAR 93 million in Q4-25, while the revenues fell by 13.24% from SAR 234 million.
Last year, Southern Province Cement swung to losses totaling SAR 49 million, versus profits of SAR 193 million in 2024.
