Cairo – Mubasher: South Korean investments in Egypt have reached $570 million through 163 companies, mainly operating in the industrial and service sectors, the Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation Sahar Nasr said.
The cooperation portfolio between the two countries has registered $396 million, primarily focused on the transportation sector, Nasr added in a statement on Tuesday.
It is noteworthy that bilateral trade between Egypt and South Korea rose to $2.160 billion in 2018, compared to $1.416 billion in the previous year.
