Cairo - Mubasher: Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals (Sidpec) turned to net profits of EGP 283 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, versus net losses of EGP 28 million in H1-20, the unaudited financial results showed.
The company's sales rose to EGP 2.67 billion in the six-month period ended 30 June from EGP 1.67 billion in the corresponding period in 2020, according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.
During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Sidpec turned to net profits of EGP 151.74 million, versus net losses of EGP 31.28 million in the year-ago period.
