Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Sharjah International Airport has signed two trade agreements with Gama Aviation Company, Abu Dhabi TV channel reported on Wednesday.
Gama aims to construct and operate a new building for private aviation services in Sharjah Airport at an investment value of AED 110 million, according to the first deal.
Meanwhile, the second agreement gives the company the usufruct of ground handling services for the private and business aircraft at Sharjah Airport.
The project covers an area of 40,000 square metres and contains a building allocated to private aircraft owners, VIPs and businessmen.
The project also comprises lounges for travelers and aircraft crews, and two massive-sized hangars for private aircraft.
The Sharjah Airport authority expects the airport to continue achieving record growth levels during 2017.
