Kuwait-Mubasher: The Securities House incurred losses in the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse statement.
Net losses reached KWD 77,000 ($254,000) in Q2-16, against profits of KWD 4.7 million ($15.6 million) in Q2-15.
In H1-16, the company posted losses of KWD 123,600, versus profits of KWD 4.4 million recorded in H1-16.
Losses are mainly attributed to a decline in profits from discounted operations to KWD 11.2 million, as well as a fall in share of results from associates to KWD 233,000.
