Schoolvoice partners with FAB's payit to boost digital payments at UAE schools

UAE - Mubasher: Schoolvoice, an ed-tech digital platform, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) to boost cashless transactions in the UAE's school ecosystem.

Under the agreement, all financial activities will be conducted in one digital payment module, powered by FAB’s digital wallet payit, by integrating the digital wallet with Schoolvoice’s comprehensive education technology, according to a recent press release.

The payment module will enable schools to digitally send and collect their payment requests and provide parents with several payment options, including credit card, debit card, or through their payit wallet.

The EVP and Head of Payments and Digital Banking (PBG) at FAB, Ramana Kumar, said: "FAB is a leading force for expanding the payments sector and we continuously explore opportunities to build on that success and drive further innovation."

Meanwhile, the Founder and CEO of Schoolvoice, Ali bin Yahya, commented: "This partnership comes to further solidify and prove our commitment to developing a lean as well as sustainable solution – that not only mitigates, but also nips any form of disruption in the bud."
