Saudi stock market ends week in decline

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday’s session down by 123.09 points (1.04%) at 11,710.45 points.

The turnover stood at SAR 4.87 billion after trading 144.05 million shares, compared to SAR 4.84 billion and 143.32 million shares a day earlier.

The majority of the sectors fell, led by the commercial which went down 1.49%. The media and healthcare segments were the only gainers with 0.55% and 0.05%, respectively.

The Saudi Industrial Investment Group was the top riser with 3.75%, while the National Company for Learning and Education was the top faller with 3.9%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate registered the highest trading volume of 22.7 million shares, while Al Rajhi Bank recorded the highest turnover of SAR 347.3 million.

Similarly, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) fell to 24,568.26 points after dropping 70.38 points (0.29%).

Natural Gas Distribution was the top faller with 3.78%, while Al Naqool advanced the risers with 1.05%.
