Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Wednesday down after falling 15.73 points, or 0.19%, to 8,964.51 points.
By 10:50 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 47.2 million shares exchanged hands via 25,460 transactions, generating SAR 858.8 million in a turnover.
The consumer durables and apparel sector dropped 1.23%, followed by the transportation segment with 0.9%.
The banking and materials sectors fell 0.45%, and 0.25%, respectively.
The real estate management and development, media, and telecommunication services sectors rose 1.15%, 0.78%, and 0.05%, respectively.
Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Wafa Insurance) stock fell 6.8%, whereas Makkah Construction and Development Company’s stock increased 4.2%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, tumbled 14.97 points, or 0.46%, to 3,241.27 points.
Development Works Food’s stock dropped 2.63%, whereas the stock of Al-Kathiri Holding Company went up 4.1%.
