Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's Minister of Human Resource and Social Development (HRSD), Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, on Wednesday issued a ministerial decision to localise by 30% accounting jobs in private sector institutions employing five or more people in accounting professions.
The ministry is providing catalysts to support private sector companies in employing, training, qualifying, and empowering Saudi accountants in the local market, in a bid to enhance productive and sustainable nationalisation, according to an official statement.
The decision aims to provide over 9,000 accounting jobs such as accounting manager, Zakat and tax directorate manager, financial reports directorate manager, internal auditor, cost accountant, among others.
A minimum wage of SAR 6,000 has been set to each Saudi accountant holding a bachelor’s degree while a minimum sum of SAR 4,500 was approved for diploma holders.
