Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Wednesday’s trading session in green territory, supported by the growth of the banking and materials sectors.
By 10:40 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) grew by 0.75%, or 60 points, to 7,893.29 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 22.30 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 513.15 million through 22,757 transactions.
The media sector topped the bourse’s gainers adding 1.51%, followed by the banking and materials sectors with 1.05% and 0.92%, respectively.
On the flip side, the pharma sector headed the losers falling 0.19%, while the healthcare sector plunged by 0.05%.
