Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi banks and the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) denied applying value added tax (VAT) by 5% while withdrawing money from the automated teller machines (ATMs).
VAT will not be applied on some financial services namely: the current accounts, depositing, saving, and the life insurance contracts, the GAZT added through its official Twitter account.
