Saudi SRO launches upgraded train carriages

Riyadh – Mubasher: Head of the Saudi Railways Organization’s (SRO) Rumaih bin Mohamed Alrumaih launched dozens of renovated train carriages at Dammam railway station to ease the movement of the passengers.

The upgrade of the train carriages is part of SRO’s plan to benefit from its assets, as Saudi specialists implemented the development works for the first time, head of SRO maintenance department Saeed Bin Jubran said.

The state-run organisation gave no further details on the cost of the project.
