Saudi Re records higher financial results in Q1-26 on business growth

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Reinsurance Company (Saudi Re) achieved a 31.96% increase in net profit after Zakat at SAR 46.72 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2026.

The results were compared to a net income of SAR 35.40 million in Q1-25, according to a bourse filing.

The earnings per share (EPS) went up to SAR 0.28 in Q1-26 from SAR 0.21 in Q1-25.

Saudi Re witnessed a surge of 73.21% in insurance revenue to SAR 560.17 million during January-March 2026 when compared with SAR 323.40 million in the corresponding three-month period a year earlier.

On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q1-26 jumped by 119.59% from SAR 21.27 million in Q4-25 and the revenue increased by 17.87% from SAR 475.20 million.

The company attributed the annual and quarterly surge in insurance revenue to the growth of its business based on the set strategy and plan.

In 2025, Saudi Re generated a net profit of SAR 140.04 million and revenue worth SAR 1.67 billion.
