Saudi NWC to finalise SAR 346m projects in June

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi National Water Company (NWC) has revealed plans to complete four fresh environmental projects with a combined value of SAR 346 million.

The projects will be carried out during May and June 2018, and they will provide sewage services for Western and Southern regions of Riyadh, the state-run utility noted.

The new projects will contribute to upgrading sewage networks in Western of AlUraija, Dhahrat Laban, and Aziziyah districts during the third quarter of 2018, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing NWC as saying.

Upon completion, the projects will achieve the indirect support for sewage services in Western and Southern of Riyadh, an official in NWC said.

The projects will include implementing sewage network of (Li1) with 15,790-kilometre length to link sewage networks with the environmental treatment plant, the official added.
