Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has issued five operating licences for the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) for the latter’s civil aviation activities, in line with the authority’s executive bylaws.
The step aims to ensure the safety of aircraft and aviation activities inside and outside Saudi Arabia, the authority said in a statement on Sunday.
The licences are a noncommercial air operator licence, an air operator certificate for air operations, and three licences for aircraft repair and maintenance stations at the company’s headquarters in Dammam, Ras Tanura, and Tanajib.
