Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Flynas transferred more than 6.4 million passengers through 60,000 domestic and international flights during the full-year 2017.
The passengers who travelled to internal destinations hit 4.4 million through 41,000 flights, whereas travelers who flew to global destinations amounted to 2 million via 19,000 flights, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing CEO Bandar Al-Mohanna as saying.
The Saudi Arabian budget airline plans to add some domestic and international destinations during 2018, Al-Mohanna added.
Flynas, partly owned by Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal's firm, has signed an agreement with European planemaker Airbus to purchase 120 A320neo aircraft at a combined value of SAR 32 billion, according to the SPA.
The flights provider plans to carry out an initial public offering (IPO) by the end of 2018 or early 2019.
