Riyadh — Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) announced that EQCM Company has fulfilled the necessary requirements to commence its investment management activities within the Kingdom's securities sector.
The authorization follows a decision issued by the CMA Board on 27 April 2026, which granted the firm the initial license to operate, according to an official statement.
The regulator confirmed that the company is now fully compliant with the executive regulations and the Capital Market Law, established under Royal Decree No. M/30.
By meeting these commencement requirements, EQCM is officially permitted to manage investments for clients in the Saudi market.
The announcement is part of the CMA’s broader regulatory oversight to ensure that all licensed financial institutions adhere to the operational standards required to maintain market integrity and investor protection.
Furthermore, the firm’s entry into the market follows the completion of all technical and organizational prerequisites mandated by the Saudi financial regulator for firms providing specialized asset management services.
