Saudi CMA approves public offering of Murabaha fund

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) gave the green light on 4 July to the public offering of Blominvest Saudi Riyal Murabaha Fund by Blominvest Saudi Arabia Company, according to a bourse disclosure.

Murabaha funds are Shariah-compliant units designed to provide individual and corporate investors an opportunity to invest on an Islamic compatible basis.

No further details about the public offering were disclosed.

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) earlier announced the CMA’s nod for the public offering of King Saud University (KSU) Waqf Fund by SNB Capital.
