Saudi Arabia to slash oil output in February, March

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, said his country’s oil output for February and March will total 8,119 million barrels per day (b/d).

The kingdom will voluntarily cut its crude oil production by an additional 1 million b/d in February and March, Prince Abdulaziz added.

This comes after OPEC and independent producers had agreed to extend the current oil production levels during the coming two months, but with voluntarily cuts from Saudi Arabia.

The output will be raised by 0.5 million b/d during February and March, OPEC said.
