Riyadh – Mubasher: The government reserves in Saudi Arabia declined by 23.8% to SAR 357.849 billion in April 2021, compared to SAR 469.617 billion in the same month of 2020.
On a monthly basis, Saudi Arabia's government reserves dropped by 1.4% in April 2021, compared to around SAR 362.952 billion in March 2021, according to data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
As for the government's current account, the Kingdom recorded SAR 60.041 billion in April 2021, up by around 146.42% from SAR 24.365 billion in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, the government's current account retreated by 28.74% month-on-month (MoM) in April, compared to SAR 84.25 billion.
