Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Minister of Investment, Khalid Al Falih, has started his official visit to the UK to strengthen the mutual investment and economic ties between the two countries and increase the UK investments in the Kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During his visit, Al Falih will meet with officials from the public and private sectors and major UK companies across several sectors, such as financial services and healthcare.
The Minister met with Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to the UK.
Al Falih said that Saudi Arabia has over 600 British companies, referring that the visit and meetings will contribute to raising the volume of UK investments in the Kingdom.
The Minister remarked that the visit will enable the Kingdom to benefit from British expertise in the financial sector, green financing models, the health and biology sectors, advanced technologies, and education.
The Minister said: "We are keen for our friends in the UK to be fully acquainted with the available opportunities and the major developments that the investment environment witnessed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially that we want their partnership to continue with us while we are building a prominent investment stage of our national development process."
