Saudi Arabia’s trade surplus with japan hits $1.5bn in September

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s trade surplus with Japan has declined to $1.47 billion (SAR 5.51 billion) in September, compared to $2.12 billion (SAR 7.95 billion) in September 2018. 

The kingdom’s exports to Japan recorded $1.94 billion (SAR 7.28 billion) last month, from $2.48 billion (SAR 9.32 billion) in September 2018, data released by the Japanese Ministry of Finance’s (MoF) showed on Monday.

As for Saudi imports from the world’s third-biggest economy, they registered $471.8 million (SAR 1.77 billion) by the end of September, against $356.12 million ($1.37 billion) in the same period a year ago.
