Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday at 11,311 points, after rising by 168.51 points (1.51%).
The turnover reached SAR 10.88 billion through the exchange of 255.18 million shares, compared to SAR 7.42 billion and 187.54 million shares a day earlier.
The banks segment topped the gainers with 2.67%, while the food and staple retail sector led the decliners with 1.15%.
Arabian Pipes topped the risers with 8.06%, while Arab Sea Information System was the top faller with 5.88%.
Dar Al Arkan continued to post the highest trading volume of 15.87 million shares, while the Saudi Telecom Company (stc) recorded the highest turnover of SAR 1.02 billion.
Similarly, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) gained 745.35 points (2.96%) to close at 25,954 points.
Alhasoob headed the risers with 28.21%, while Group Five Pipe was the only faller with 0.37%.
