Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia has begun extending the validity of the residency permits, exit-re-entry, and visit visas for expatriates abroad in countries from which arrival was suspended to the Kingdom, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The General Directorate of Passports’ immigration authority will renew the permits and visas for free as of 2 June.
This move comes as part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to deal with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The immigration authority confirmed that the extension will automatically take place, in collaboration with the National Information Center, with no need to report to the directorate of passports offices,” according to the SPA.
