Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Health reported three new cases for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing its total to five.
A Saudi citizen returning from Iran via Kuwait infected his wife with the new virus, the ministry tweeted on Thursday.
In addition, another Saudi returning from Iran also tested positive for the new coronavirus.
All COVID-19 cases are quarantined and other people who had contact with the patients are undergoing medical tests, the ministry affirmed.
On Wednesday, the kingdom announced the detection of the second case of the novel coronavirus after a Saudi returning from Iran via Bahrain tested positive for the new virus.
