Cairo – Mubasher: The Saudi Arabian Al Sharbatly Group is planning to inject $2.5 billion worth of investments into the Egyptian market over the coming five years, the Saudi businessman Hassan Al Sharbatly said.
During a meeting between the Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, and several Saudi investors on Sunday, Al Sharbatly said that a total of $2 billion has been invested in the last 15 years in Egypt, according to a cabinet statement.
In 2020, the group signed several agreements, including a $500 million project deal, he added, noting that the Saudi group is set to sign another $150 million deal in the coming period.
