Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Airlines Catering Company has turned to net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 15.4 million in the third quarter (Q3) of 2021 against losses of SAR 106.5 million in Q3-20 and SAR 17.4 million in Q2-21.
Revenues soared by 114.5% to SAR 332.2 million in Q3-21 from SAR 154.8 million in Q3-20, according to the interim income statements on Tuesday.
During the first nine months of 2021, Saudi Airlines Catering incurred losses worth SAR 32.1 million, down 86% from SAR 234.7 million in the same period last year.
The loss per share stood at SAR 0.39 at the end of September this year, decreasing from SAR 2.86 in the same period in 2020.
Revenues increased by 17% to SAR 845.5 million in January-September 2021 from SAR 720.6 million in the corresponding nine months last year.
At the end of September 2021, the accumulated losses stood at SAR 238 million, representing 29.03% of the SAR 820 million capital.
