Riyadh – Mubasher: Samba Financial Group will hold its extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 30 April.
The EGM will discuss the distribution of cash dividends at SAR 0.50 per share, totalling SAR 1.23 billion and representing 55% of capital for the second half of 2016.
The dividends will be distributed on Sunday, 14 May, after obtaining the approval of the general assembly, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
The meeting will discuss mandating the board to distribute interim cash dividends for 2017.
The board and auditor's reports for the fiscal year ended on 31 December 2016 will be also considered during the meeting.
In the twelve months of 2016, the company earned SAR 5 billion, down 4% year-on-year from SAR 5.21 billion.
