Salama turns profitable in Q2

Dubai - Mubasher: Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) reported profits of AED 1.09 million in the first quarter of 2017, versus losses of AED 64.19 million for the same period last year, as shown by the company’s financial statements.

As for the first half of the year, net profits amounted to AED 7.74 million in H1-17, against losses of AED 155.89 million in the corresponding period of the year before, the company said in a statement to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
