Riyadh – Mubasher: Sahara Petrochemicals on Sunday announced extending periodic maintenance works at two of its subsidiaries in Jubail Industrial City due to technical issues in the utilities unit.
The subsidiaries in question are Al Waha Petrochemical Company and Sahara and Maaden Petrochemical Company, Sahara said in a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
It added that it was working on fixing the problems as soon as possible.
Further developments will be announced at a later time, the petrochemical company added.
In March, Sahara said it was doing prescheduled maintenance works at two of its affiliates. Al Waha produces propylene and polypropylene, while the Sahara and Maaden plant produces caustic soda and dichloride ethylene.
