SPIMACO reports 93% surge in H1-25 profits; accumulated losses unveiled

Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corporation (SPIMACO) achieved net profits of SAR 111.10 million in the first half (H1) of 2025, marking a 92.88% year-on-year (YoY) leap from SAR 57.60 million.

Revenues increased by 4.24% YoY to SAR 885.60 million in H1-25 from SAR 849.50 million, according to the financial statements.

Earnings per share (EPS) hit SAR 0.87 in the first six months (6M) of 2025, versus SAR 0.44 in the same period of 2024.

The group suffered accumulated losses valued at SAR 16.80 million as of 30 June 2025, equivalent to 1.40% of its capital.

Results for Q2

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, the company delivered 98.89% higher net profits at SAR 36 million, compared to SAR 18.10 million in Q2-24.

Revenues amounted to SAR 400.80 million in April-June 2025, an annual rise of 7.30% from SAR 373.50 million.

Quarterly, the Q2-25 net profits shrank by 52.06% compared to SAR 75.10 million in Q1-25, whereas the revenues fell by 17.32% from SAR 484.80 million.
