SODIC's profit drops 37% in nine months

Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits of Six of October Development and Investment (SODIC) slid by 36.8% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 346.95 million in the first nine months of 2021, compared to EGP 549.45 million, including minority shareholders' rights. 

The property developer generated EGP 3.31 billion in revenue in the January-September period, down from EGP 3.58 billion in the prior-year period, according to a bourse disclosure on Monday. 

Meanwhile, the standalone net losses widened to EGP 147.7 billion in the nine-month period ended 30 September from EGP 91.53 million in the corresponding period a year earlier. 

In the first half (H1) of 2021, SODIC recorded net profits of EGP 225.84 million, up from EGP 74.51 million in H1-20, including minority shareholders' rights.
