SFD funds private firms with SAR 30bn in 5 yrs

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) revealed that it has financed the local private sector with SAR 29.7 billion ($7.9 billion) over the last five years.

SFD aims to contribute to the Saudi Vision 2030 and its various projects, according to a report by the fund.

The fund is supporting local exports and production. It hired Saudi consultants and contractors with arounb SAR 5.12 billion in investments.

Loans and grants by SFD have amounted to more than SAR 44 billion, provided to finance 240 projects in 42 countries.
