Riyadh – Mubasher: Advanced Building Industries Company (SENAAT) received a letter, on 11 June, from Zamil Group Holding Company and Zamil Group Investment Company Limited regarding the transfer of ownership.
Abdullah Hamad Al Zamil Sons Holding Company, a closed joint-stock company owned by the Zamil family, bought 11.69 million shares in SENAAT, representing 19.50% of the company’s total share capital, according to a bourse filing.
The share transfer was completed through a private transaction after obtaining the required regulatory approvals. This comes within the framework of an internal restructuring among the major shareholders, without resulting in any change to the company’s strategy or goals.
Earlier this month, the ordinary general meeting (OGM) of SENAAT greenlighted a purchase deal with Zamil Group Holding at a value of SAR 20.72 million.
