Cairo – Mubasher: The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) will start setting up a dry bulk terminal with an absorbing capacity of 5.5 million metres by the end of 2017, vice chairman Mahfouz Taha said.
The terminal will be implemented in partnership with the private sector, Taha added during Al-Ahram Conference for real estate investment, pointing out that it is set to be completed in 2020.
He mentioned that the SCZone has six ports, including three ports along the Mediterranean Sea and three ports along the Red Sea.
Taha stressed that Egypt has selected the real estate sector, the most attractive sector for investments, to lead development in the country, as it provides approximately three million job opportunities.
