Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea, witnessed the signing of a framework agreement between Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and Poland’s Katowice Special Economic Zone to build a Polish industrial zone in Ain Sokhna.
Th agreement includes the establishment of an economic zone over an area from 400 to 1,000,000 square metres (sqm) specialised in food, electronic, and auto spare part industries, according to a statement by the Ministry of Trade and Industry on Tuesday.
A delegate of 18 Polish companies visited the economic zone in Ain Sokhna.
It is noteworthy to mention that bilateral trade between Egypt and Poland reached $672 million in 2019.
