SAMA’s assets down 3.3% in January

Riyadh – Mubasher: Assets of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) were down by 3.27% in January 2021 when compared to the corresponding month in 2020.

The assets stood at SAR 1.85 trillion ($493.67 billion) in January 2021, down from SAR 1.91 trillion ($510.35 billion) in January 2020, according to official data.  

On a monthly basis, the assets levelled up by 0.24% in January 2021 when compared to their level in December 2020 at SAR 1.84 trillion ($492.48 billion).
