SAIB appoints Al Fagham as new CEO

Riyadh — Mubasher: The Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB) has appointed Salman bin Badr Al Fagham as the new CEO.

The appointment is scheduled to take effect on 1 October 2026, following the receipt of a no-objection notice from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

Al Fagham succeeds Faisal bin Abdullah Al Omran, whose resignation was accepted by the board on 28 September 2026, and will become effective on 30 September 2026. Al Omran, who requested to step down, concludes a 20-year tenure with the bank.

The incoming CEO, Al Fagham, brings over 20 years of experience in the Saudi banking sector. His career includes roles at SAMA and several leadership positions within SAIB across treasury, investment, liquidity management, and capital management.

He most recently served as the Deputy CEO. The board expressed its appreciation to Al Omran for his contributions and effective role during his two decades of service to the institution.

Earlier on 26 September, the lender’s board member Mohammed bin Salem Mussa passed away.
