Remittances of Egyptian expats rise to $25.8bn in 10 months

Cairo - Mubasher: The value of remittances of Egyptians living abroad increased by 34% year-on-year (YoY) to $2.5 billion in April, compared to $1.8 billion, according to data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Thursday. 

During the first 10 months of the fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, remittances of Egyptian expatriates grew to $25.8 billion at the end of April from $23.4 billion in the same period in FY19/20.
