Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology announced the start of registration in Riyadh Techstars Accelerator, which takes place for the first time in the Kingdom to support tech startups, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Riyadh Techstars Accelerator will be based in Saudi Arabia’s capital for four months to provide support programmes and invest in the initial stages of projects. It aims to boost companies’ success, support their commercial growth, accelerate their reliance on digital technologies, and help them to expand into different markets.
The ministry has launched Riyadh Techstars Accelerator in partnership with Raed Ventures Investment Fund.
The accelerator will adopt 10 startups, while the involved projects will receive funding worth SAR 450,000 ($ 120,000).
Riyadh Techstars Accelerator is offering a global network of 20,000 experts and mentors in 150 countries.
