Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Wednesday’s trading session in the green, for the second session in a row, supported by the growth of the real estate and banks sectors.
The general index increased by 21.66 points, or 0.45%, to finish at 4,837.57 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 89.41 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 201.213 million through 1,434 transactions.
The real estate sector topped the gainers adding 1.06% as Eshraq Properties and RAK Properties grew 2.81% and 3.38%, respectively.
Similarly, the banks sector levelled up 1.06% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went up 1.30%, while the investment sector jumped 2.18%.
In the flip side, the energy sector headed the decliners falling 3.44% as Dana Gas plunged 4.42%, while the telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat), went down 0.59% each.
