Cairo - Mubasher: Raya Customer Experience (RCX), a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments, has launched its first corporate accelerator, Raya FutureTECH, powered by the US-based venture builder, Openner.
"Raya FutureTECH will power early-stage tech startups that have a minimum viable product or a solution that addresses a problem in the customer experience field across all industries," Raya Contact Center said in a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.
Up to 10 startups will get a cash investment of up to EGP 1 million ($60,000) as well as hands-on support from Openner., along with gaining access to Raya CX’s technical capabilities, customer experience expertise, and wide client base.
Raya Holding’s Head of Venture Investments, Mohamed Nazir, said: “The goal of establishing FutureTECH is to power tech-enabled startups and fuel entrepreneurship in the Egyptian market."
During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Raya Contact Center achieved net profits of EGP 2.04 million, down from EGP 10.3 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
