Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday’s trading session lower, dragged by the fall of blue chips.
The index fell by 0.32% or 34.79 points to reach 10,707.24 points by 10am Doha time.
The insurance sector led four decliners with 1.32%, and the banks segment retreated by 0.88%, as QNB fell by 1.75%.
Meanwhile, the goods segment topped three gainers with 0.74%.
QSE’s turnover reached QAR 38.83 million, after 1.52 million shares were traded.
Ezdan was the most active stock on which nearly 624,700 shares were exchanged at a value of QAR 9.84 million. The stock gained 0.45%.
