Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s main index grew in Monday’s mid trading by 0.25% or 26.07 points to the level of 10,630.03 points.
By 10:30am Doha time, traded volume reached 1.48 million shares exchanged at QAR 33.11 million through 811 transactions.
The index was backed by the rise in blue chips as QNB, Industries Qatar, Masraf Al Rayan and QIB grew 0.26%, 0.09% 0.41% and 0.94% respectively.
The industrial sector was the best performer after rising by 0.3%, the banking sector increased 0.28%, insurance sector added 0.27%, consumer goods sector levelled up 0.12% and the telecom sector edged up 0.02%.
Meanwhile, the real estate and transportation sectors declined by 0.13% and 0.02% respectively.
