Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Monday’s session rising by 1.38% or 140.86 points to the level of 10,328.79 points.
Trading volume increased to 14.95 million shares from 10.08 million shares exchanged on
Sunday, turnover also rose to QAR 449.79 million from QAR 334.433 million.
The real estate sector leapt 1.99%, backed by an increase of 4.32% in Mazaya Qatar, the best performing stock.
The industrial sector levelled up 1.68% as National Cement grew 0.24%.
The banking sector ascended 1.35% as QNB rose 2.63%, while Ahli Bank topped losers after falling by 7.39%.
On the flipside, the telecom and insurance sectors declined by 1.33% and 0.45% respectively.
Industries Qatar made the highest turnover of QAR 58.85 million, while Mazaya Qatar made the biggest trading volume activity of 3.07 million shares.
