Mubasher: Qatar’s real estate transactions rose 21.1% year-on-year to QAR 32.7 billion ($9 billion) in 2017, according to the Ministry of Justice’s (MoJ) report issued on Thursday.
Over the course of the previous year, the number of property deals jumped 19.2% to 3,980 versus 3,340 in 2016, the report added.
Real estate deals in the world’s biggest exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG) hit the highest level in October 2017 with 580 transactions with a total amount of QAR 6.5 billion.
