Mubasher: Qatar’s industrial production index (IPI) jumped 4.7% year-on-year to 110.4 points in August, the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS) said in a statement on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the production of other subgroups of the manufacturing index witnessed a 2% jump topped by the manufacture of rubber and plastics products with 7.1%.
As for electricity and water, they witnessed an 11.8 % drop, while water supplies fell 17.4%, the ministry said.
