Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE), on Thursday, rose in early trading by 0.08% or 8.09 points to the level of 10,344.14 points.
Trading volume reached 1.12 million shares exchanged at QAR 26.6 million through 462 transactions.
The real estate sector grew 0.36% as Ezdan rose 0.66%, the banking sector advanced 0.08% as Qatar First Bank (QFB) leapt 2.49%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector dropped 015% due to a fall of 0.2% in Ooredoo, the industrial sector shrank 0.13% due to a 3.15% decrease in National Cement.
QFB led the trading activity with a volume of 578,860 shares exchanged at QAR 6.8 million.
