Doha – Mubasher: Norwegian Yara International chemicals company on Tuesday said that Qatar Fertiliser Company’s (QAFCO) exports have not been affected by the recent diplomatic rift between Qatar and its neighbouring countries, according to a company statement.
There are no logistical issues, a Yara spokesperson said, adding that QAFCO’s production is currently being prepared for export from the Qatari port.
The Norwegian company owns 25% of QAFCO.
On Monday, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE accused Qatar of supporting terrorism and coordinated a move against it, cutting all diplomatic ties.
