Doha – Mubasher: Qatar for Cinema and Film Distribution Company’s profits rose in the second quarter of fiscal 2016 by 73.7% year-on-year.
Net profit reached QAR 3.96 million ($1.08 million) in Q2-16, versus QAR 2.28 million ($620,800) posted for Q2-15, according to a bourse filing released on Monday.
In the first half of fiscal 2016, net profit grew by 12.5% to QAR 7.38 million from QAR 6.56 million reached in the same period of 2015.
Earnings per share amounted to QAR 1.18 for H1-16, versus QAR 1.04 for H1-15.
The company earlier posted a net profit of QAR 3.42 million for Q1-16, 20.1% down from QAR 4.28 million for Q1-15.
